Are you interested in learning more about using Bluehost FTP to transfer files to your website to your hard drive? If you use Bluehost webhosting, then FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is available to for free in the bluehost cPanel. You don’t need to download or install anything to use it either. In order to use the FTP that bluehost offers, go to the cPanel and go to site management. Now select FTP manager and you have a few options to chose from.
- Java Applet FTP. With this client, you can transfer files between bluehost and your computer’s hard drive.
- The bluehost drag and drop FTP is my favorite bluehost feature. This FTP opens up a new browser window where you can drag and drop files in between your hard drive and the server. It’s so easy a monkey can do it.
It is important to remember to upload the files you want to your root directory located at public_html/.
